We’re hiring entry-level Recruitment Consultants to join G&E Group in Central London. This is a role for people who want something fast-paced, competitive, and genuinely rewarding, not a slow corporate climb. You don’t need recruitment experience. Most of our team didn’t have any when they started. What you do need is drive, resilience, and the willingness to be coached hard and improve quickly.
What the role actually looks like:
- Winning new clients and building relationships from scratch
- Head-hunting senior professionals across your market
- Running full recruitment processes from first call to offer
- Learning how to build and own a commercial market
It’s demanding, but you’ll be supported closely while you learn.
Why people join (and stay):
Money is a big part of it. In your first year, you should expect £50,000-£60,000 OTE, with uncapped commission up to 60%. If you perform, there’s no ceiling. Some of our top performers have gone far beyond that. The bigger reason people stay is progression. We promote fast - genuinely fast. People here regularly step into senior roles within 12 months, and we’ve produced Managing Directors who are in their mid-20s. If you want a slow, tenure-based career path, this probably isn’t it.
Training & environment:
You’ll be trained properly - not just “shown the ropes”. Expect daily coaching, live feedback, and constant exposure to experienced consultants who are genuinely performing at a high level. This is an office-based, high-energy environment in Oxford Circus, with five days a week together as a team.
Who tends to do well here:
We’re not too interested in CVs for the sake of it. The people who succeed here usually have:
- Something competitive in their background (sport, sales, academics, anything measurable)
- A strong work ethic and ability to push through setbacks
- Confidence speaking to people they don’t know
- A desire to earn and progress quickly
- A willingness to be coached and improve fast
We’ve hired graduates, ex-sportspeople, and early-career sales professionals. No recruitment background required.
A quick glance at G&E Group:
We’re four Executive Search businesses based in Oxford Circus. We work across US Construction markets, partnering with companies hiring senior-level talent (typically $150k+ roles). It’s specialist, global, and commercially focused - not high-volume agency recruitment.
Location & start date:
33 Cavendish Square, London, W1G 0PW
Start dates: Summer / Autumn 2026
Monday-Friday, office-based
If you want a role where effort directly translates into earnings and progression, apply and we’ll be in touch.
