We have an excellent opportunity for a Repair Technician to join a world leader in the hire and supply of equipment and facilities to the service industry. Responsibilities

  • To fault find issues on a range of electrical and electronic equipment including some three phase appliances.
  • Undertaking electrical/electronic, mechanical repairs on a variety of equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Preparing equipment to be sent to external suppliers for repair.
  • Broad testing of completed repairs (including PAT) before managing the return to stock.
  • Work with the inventory team to ensure stock repair supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.
  • Process and help support repairs administrator with costs of repairs when required.
  • Understanding the priorities of the incoming repair stock and deciding on the most cost-efficient repair options.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Prior electrical, electronic or mechanical repairs experience.
  • Must be IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to confidently communicate with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and organised with the ability to plan workload and keep track of multiple jobs.
  • Experience in electrical repairs including three phase would be an advantage, however, not essential.
