Permanent – Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Location: South Yorkshire, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham

Salary package: £50k p/a + pension + medical + 25 days hols. + package

Working week: Monday to Friday, 37hr standard week

The Client:

Our client is a leading UK engineering and construction installation organisation, specialising in large mechanical, electrical and control projects from initial concept through to installation and commission. They operate in heavy engineering sectors, including nuclear, infrastructure, marine and specialist lifting.

They are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor due to continued growth of projects.

The role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will work within the commercial department providing cost and revenue management on major contracts.

  • Administer contracts efficiently, ensuring compliance and timely execution while identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor and progress Compensation Events to agreement through liaison with client representatives.
  • Identify and report financial concerns, supporting Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) preparation with project teams and the Commercial Manager.
  • Track site progress, manpower allocation, and productivity data for client reporting and applications.
  • Prepare and manage monthly reports.
