We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious FLT Driver / Production Op to support the production teams on-site. This is a hands-on logistics and operational role offering great long-term opportunities for progression in a stable and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- FLT driving (Counterbalance) good in/out. Navigating pallets of raw material and product from production to warehouse and vice-versa
- Loading and unloading lorries
- Assisting teams and Operations with production tasks
- Wrapping, stacking, and moving finished goods
- Keeping the working area clean, safe, and organised
- Supporting with machine changeovers and basic maintenance tasks
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For / Candidate specification:
- Previous experience working around Extruders or Extrusion Machinery would be nice, but not essential.
- In-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good level of physical fitness; the role can involve manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible with working hours; Overtime at time and a half
