An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and growing engineering organisation based in West Yorkshire. This is a confidential position advertised on behalf of our client, offering the chance to play a key role in delivering high-value customer projects within a technically driven environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Projects, you will take full ownership of projects from order through to completion, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality objectives. Acting as the central point of contact, you will coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end, from initiation through to final delivery
- Monitor technical, commercial, and financial project performance
- Track milestones, budgets, and overall project profitability
- Act as the primary liaison for all project-related communication
- Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure structured documentation and handover
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Oversee invoicing, cash flow, and risk management activities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Person Specification
- HNC/Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a project management or customer-facing role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project risks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
