We’re looking for a creative and user-focused Content Designer to join a brilliant User-Centred Design (UCD) team working across large-scale public sector projects.

The team is growing quickly and already well known internally for their high-quality delivery, collaboration, and genuine passion for making digital services simple, clear, and accessible to everyone.

If you love writing purposeful content, working closely with designers and researchers, and creating experiences that help real people, this could be the perfect next step.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing user-focused content across websites, services, and applications, making complex information easy to understand.
  • Working closely with service designers, researchers, and developers to align user needs with organisational goals.
  • Leading content audits, reviews, and testing to continually improve clarity and accessibility.
  • Creating and maintaining tone of voice, content standards, and style guidance across multiple products.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate ideas and influence content strategy decisions.
  • Advocating for content design best practices and user-centred thinking across teams.
  • What You’ll Need
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Experience designing within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • strong experience with GDS
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Confidence working across different CMS tools and design platforms.
