As demand continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced Client Principal Consultant to work with senior stakeholders across large-scale transformation programmes, helping shape better services, improve organisational effectiveness and deliver meaningful outcomes for citizens and service users.

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and practical level. You'll work closely with client leadership teams to understand challenges, define approaches and support transformation activity across complex environments. You'll be comfortable building trusted relationships, facilitating difficult conversations and helping organisations navigate change with confidence.

The successful candidate will bring a good understanding of user-centred approaches, service design principles and modern delivery practices will be important, but equally valuable is the ability to influence, advise and build credibility with senior decision-makers. You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of transformation initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams spanning strategy, design, delivery, technology and change. Alongside client-facing work, you'll also contribute to the development of consulting capability, supporting colleagues and helping shape future opportunities within existing accounts.

About You

You may currently be working as a Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, Service Design Lead, Transformation Lead or similar role within consulting, government, healthcare or another complex delivery environment. Experience within the public sector, central government, local government, healthcare or regulated environments is essential.

  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • A track record of influencing senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • An understanding of service-led and user-centred approaches.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary and agile environments.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for further client impact.
  • Confidence operating in situations where there is ambiguity, complexity and competing priorities.

What's on Offer

This is an opportunity to join a respected and growing consultancy that combines strategic thinking with practical delivery expertise. You'll work on high-profile transformation programmes, collaborate with experienced practitioners and have genuine scope to influence both client outcomes and the future direction of the consulting practice. A competitive salary, performance-related bonus, flexible working arrangements, learning and development support, private healthcare and a comprehensive benefits package are all included.

If you're passionate about helping organisations solve complex problems and deliver better outcomes for the people who rely on their services, we'd love to hear from you.
