G.Digital have exclusively partnered with an exciting HealthTech business looking to hire a Lead Data Engineer to build and shape a brand-new Data Engineering function from the ground up.
This isn't your standard leadership role and definitely won't suit everyone. Initially, you'll be hands-on delivering a critical Data Engineering project expected to run for the first 3–6 months. From there, you'll have the autonomy to define what the Data Engineering capability looks like moving forward — tooling, architecture, strategy and team build included. Huge opportunity to genuinely influence engineering direction within a scaling business.
What they're looking for:
- Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience across Python, Spark, SQL and PySpark
- Experience working with hyperscaler cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Exposure to modern tooling including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Previous experience building, leading or mentoring Data Engineering teams
