G.Digital are partnered with an award-winning technology business in Leeds who are looking for an L2 Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing internal technology team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants more than just BAU support. You’ll initially work closely with the existing Senior Infrastructure Engineer, taking ownership of the day-to-day internal IT and cloud estate before they transition into a more senior role within the business. The role will suit someone who enjoys a mix of infrastructure operations, cloud administration, security, compliance, and continuous improvement work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and maintaining internal IT infrastructure and operational support
  • Managing onboarding/offboarding, access controls, hardware provisioning and asset tracking
  • Supporting and administering Microsoft Azure environments
  • Maintaining infrastructure documentation and operational processes
  • Supporting patch management, business continuity and security controls
  • Assisting with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and audit activities
  • Working on infrastructure improvements, automation and tooling enhancements
  • Supporting cloud setups for customers including Azure resources and DevOps environments
  • Collaborating across the business to improve internal systems and processes

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a commercial environment
  • Exposure to Azure cloud environments
  • Good understanding of networking and identity/access management
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • An interest in security, compliance and continuous improvement

Nice to have:

  • ISO27001 / Cyber Essentials exposure
  • AWS experience
  • DevOps tooling exposure
  • Experience working in Agile environments
