We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Data Architect who knows their way around modern, ontology‑driven data platforms (Foundry experience ideal) and wants real influence over how large‑scale, high‑impact data ecosystems are designed. This is a role where your architectural decisions genuinely shape how organisations use data, from real‑time operations to advanced analytics and everything in between.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and evolving enterprise‑level ontologies / semantic layers
- Building scalable, well‑structured data pipelines and data products
- Working with a wide range of data types, structured, unstructured, streaming, IoT
- Embedding strong security, lineage, and access controls
- Partnering with engineers, analysts, and senior stakeholders to drive platform adoption
- Supporting cloud‑based deployments, ideally AWS
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands‑on experience with Foundry or similar modern data platforms
- Background in enterprise data modelling or semantic architecture
- Experience in regulated or high‑governance environments
- Confident communicator who can influence both technical and non‑technical teams
Nice to have:
- Foundry‑related certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect
- TOGAF or similar EA frameworks
- Knowledge of interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7/SNOMED)
