This is one of those Lead roles where you’re not just building systems, but shaping how a team delivers them! We’re partnering with a global SaaS company whose cloud platform powers thousands of clients worldwide. As their Technical Services team scales, they’re hiring a Lead AWS Cloud Engineer to drive the platform forward. This is a 60% hands‑on lead role, you’ll stay close to the tech while guiding engineers and delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design and evolution of AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Stay hands‑on with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and automation
  • Lead a team of 7 engineers and provide technical direction
  • Translate technical decisions into business impact

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong commercial experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, ECR, RDS, S3, WAF)
  • Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL and Git‑based workflows
  • Background in hosting web applications and cloud‑native platforms
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or being responsible for a small engineering team
