They have recently undergone a restructure in the Tech function and have created a new Software Engineering Manager position to drive best practices and engineering standards.

About the role:

  • Oversee a number of multi-discipline squads (20 Engineers in total)
  • Drive delivery of software solutions within software engineering squads
  • Shape technology strategy, roadmaps and long-term planning
  • Encourage experimentation and adoption of new technologies, tools and approaches to strengthen the organisation’s competitive advantage

About you:

  • Experience managing dynamic engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in software engineering with experience across modern programming languages
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with information security, compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the organisation and financial services industry
  • Familiarity scaling engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies
