They have recently undergone a restructure in the Tech function and have created a new Software Engineering Manager position to drive best practices and engineering standards.

About the role:
- Oversee a number of multi-discipline squads (20 Engineers in total)
- Drive delivery of software solutions within software engineering squads
- Shape technology strategy, roadmaps and long-term planning
- Encourage experimentation and adoption of new technologies, tools and approaches to strengthen the organisation’s competitive advantage
About you:
- Experience managing dynamic engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in software engineering with experience across modern programming languages
- Experience with agile methodologies and cloud-based infrastructure
- Familiarity with information security, compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the organisation and financial services industry
- Familiarity scaling engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies
