We are super proud to be partnering with a leading tech consultancy who are on the hunt for a Data Operations Business Analyst to join a team delivering a large-scale data platform that's used by data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders alike. If you're someone who loves getting hands-on with data, investigating issues, asking questions, and turning findings into clear actions, this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing:
- Investigating production data to identify issues, anomalies, and trends
- Using SQL and PySpark to explore data, validate assumptions, and uncover root causes
- Supporting data scientists and engineers with queries, investigations, and data related challenges
- Gathering requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops
- Translating business needs into epics, stories, and deliverable outcomes
- Helping shape priorities while balancing user needs, security, and governance requirements
- Supporting and improving data governance across the platform
What we're looking for:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst in a data focused environment
- Strong SQL skills and confidence working directly with production data
- Exposure to PySpark or large scale data platforms

- Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments
