Responsibilities of the Agile Lead
As an Agile Lead, you will drive agile transformation across multiple teams, ensuring the successful delivery of software. Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Product Owners to prioritize and validate the backlog based on business needs.
- Facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and ensuring they are conducted effectively.
- Coaching teams on Agile principles, empowering them to become self-organizing and drive continuous improvement.
- Using data and metrics , including DORA metrics, to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Helping teams identify and mitigate risks or impediments that could affect their performance.
- Ensuring teams are aligned with business goals and technical objectives, working closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads.
Skills and Competencies
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Excellent facilitation and coaching skills to guide teams in adopting Agile practices.
