  • VAT & MTD: Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD).
  • MTD for ITSA: Assisting clients with the transition to and ongoing submissions for MTD for Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA).
  • Bookkeeping: Monthly / Quarterly bookkeeping tasks for certain clients maintaining clean, accurate digital ledgers.
  • Client Advisory: Acting as a trusted point of contact, helping clients navigate their software and day-to-day accounting queries.

About You (Requirements)

  • Practice Experience (Required): You must have recent, proven experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Tech-Savvy: You thrive in a digital environment and love using cloud-based accounting tech.
  • Software Skills: Preferred hands-on experience with softwares such as TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent.
  • Work Ethic: You are capable, highly organised, and possess a strong, proactive work ethic.
