Job Title: Parts Manager
Job Description:
Working alongside the Workshop Plant Manger and answerable to the Overall Workshop Manager you will be required:
- To Maintain required Stock levels on parts and service items
- To Manage Goods Inwards and Goods Outwards Processing
- To Keep Detailed Service Records on the Hire Fleet
- To Monitor and Tender Pricing on Fast Moving Parts
- To Liaise with key suppliers and develop new supplier relationships
- To control and monitor parts return and warranty return processes
- To Manage communications and order processes to ensure minimum downtime on the hire fleet and avoid VOR wherever possible
- To develop automated ordering systems and modernising
- This role is fast paced and challenging, no one day is the same
Successful Candidate will require the following:
- A good understanding of Plant Machinery and mechanisation.
- Good Administrative skills and attention to detail
- Good IT skills across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Good Telephone manor for Dealing with customers & Suppliers
- Good communication skills both Written & Verbal
- Professional and presentable
- Ability to work with own initiatives and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving Licence (Preferred but not required)
- A flexible worker capable of turning their hand to other tasks when required
Working Hours
- 8.00am β 5.00pm Monday to Friday (9 Hour Shift)
Remuneration
- Salary Scale is commensurate with experience
- 20 Days Holiday Plus 8
