The George Albert Hotel is a modern, independent hotel located between Dorchester and Yeovil. We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally farmed and sourced ingredients to create wholesome and innovative menus, expressing culinary creativity.

Working closely with our Head Chef, we are looking for an individual with a solid background gained in Rosetted properties, with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. We are a multi-faceted operation, creating à la carte food for our restaurant and bar, as well as a large number of banqueting.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure every dish meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Be confident in kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and adherence to health and safety and food safety regulations.
