The Role

We\’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Plasterer who wants to build a long-term career in the trade.
You\’ll work alongside experienced Plasterers, learning all aspects of plastering, with a focus on heritage plastering and using breathable plasters. We would provide the training required to work towards an NVQ L2, followed by a Craft/Heritage L3.

This isn\’t a labourer role — it\’s a training position for someone who wants to become a skilled Plasterer. We reward effort, reliability, and craftsmanship.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Assisting on live rendering and insulation projects
• Learning how to:
• Mix materials
• Applying base coats and top coats under supervision
• Keeping sites clean, tidy, and organised
• Professionally representing G Cook and Sons on every job

What We\’re Looking For

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn every aspect of plastering
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Able to work as part of a team and follow direction
• Physically fit for manual work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
