Your Purpose
Working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment, the Junior Cyber Security Specialist will focus on marine governance issues and support with the monitoring and understanding of OT systems onboard.
Working within the marine cyber security governance sphere, this role will have the opportunity to implement and monitor OT systems onboard our fleet of vessels. This role also involves providing assistance and remote support to the incident response cyber unit.
Your Impact
- Assists in drafting and revising policies, procedures and directives related to cyber security in the context of cruise management.
- Supports managers in controlling projects and reviewing documents in accordance with MSC cyber security standards.
- Supports the operational implementation of cyber-OT projects onboard MSC Cruises/Explora Journeys vessels.
- Prepares presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to demonstrate audit results, status updates etc.
- Troubleshoots and supports fleet cyber security queries remotely when required
Your Journey so far
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related qualification or proven experience in the shipping industry as IT/Cyber Security
- 2 years of experience in network security or another cyber security role (preferably governance or OT).
- Good knowledge of operating systems’ administration and network security technologies.
- Ability to self-manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
- Adaptable individual and team player with a strong self-driven work ethic.
- Knowledge of OT systems/environment is considered a plus.
Your Essentials
- Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of Italian and/or French is a plus
- Full Right to Work in the UK required
- Ability to travel globally without restriction
