The Multi Trader role is a full-time, on-site position based in London. In this role, the individual will carry out a variety of plumbing, drainage, and general maintenance tasks in residential and commercial properties, including diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and undertaking installations and refurbishments. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Responding to scheduled and emergency call-outs
  • Performing fault-finding
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Providing clear updates to the office team and clients
  • Working across different trades as needed
  • Supporting planned maintenance programs
  • Contributing to maintaining the company’s reputation for reliable, responsive service

The role requires effective time management, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to relevant regulations and health and safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong practical skills and experience in plumbing, basic heating work, and general maintenance across residential and commercial properties
  • Competence in multi trade tasks such as minor carpentry, decorating, basic glazing, guttering, and fencing repairs
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve drainage issues, including blockages, repairs, and clearance, with an understanding of related equipment and tools
  • Experience working in responsive and planned maintenance environments, including attending emergency call-outs and managing workloads efficiently
  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent in plumbing or multi trade disciplines) and a valid driving license
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of clients and team members
  • Awareness of health and safety standards, safe working practices, and regulatory requirements applicable to plumbing and property maintenance
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve on site, and maintain accurate job documentation and reporting
