The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries of beds, mattresses and furniture to our customers and delivery locations.
This role involves early morning starts and manual handling, including loading and unloading goods from the vehicle. Applicants must therefore be comfortable undertaking the physical requirements of the role.
Duties will include:
Driving a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle
Completing scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
Early morning deliveries as required
Loading and unloading beds, mattresses and furniture
Ensuring goods are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
Completing relevant delivery and vehicle documentation
Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks
Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph and road transport requirements
Providing a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers and delivery sites
