As a Principal Product Manager at Printify, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the product vision for a domain within the Supply pillar. Your primary focus will be to deliver a seamless and efficient supply experience for merchants and their customers. The team's mission is to enable merchants to operate smoothly while ensuring operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the supply chain.
In this role, you will lead a domain within supply, working closely with the selection management, shipping, and order routing teams to ensure that merchants can confidently fulfill orders while keeping end customers satisfied. You will also work closely with logistics partners, carriers, fulfillment centers, data science teams, and internal engineering teams to drive innovation in supply automation, tracking visibility, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, e-commerce shipping, and marketplace dynamics, experience working with carrier APIs and fulfillment workflows, and a passion for simplifying complex logistics challenges.
Responsibilities- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your domain, aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research, user analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth in the POD products marketplace.
- User-Centric Design: Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive, user-centric interfaces that enhance the shopping, customization, and purchasing experience for buyers.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Feature Development: Define and prioritize features, functionalities, and enhancements based on customer feedback, data-driven insights, and business goals.
- Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the marketplace and continuously monitor, analyze, and report on product performance.
- Customer Engagement: Drive customer engagement and retention strategies through personalized recommendations, loyalty programs, and targeted marketing efforts.
- User Testing and Feedback: Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience.
- Team leadership: Mentor and grow a team of 2 product managers.
- 5+ years experience working as a Product Manager with a proven track record of building and launching successful products.
- Experience in building fulfillment and shipping experiences, managing carriers integrations, and fulfillment and delivery workflows.
- User-centric approach when building customer-facing solutions.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplace dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
- Proficiency in using data-driven insights to make informed product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with discovery and experimentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and staying updated with industry trends, including the most recent and emerging AI technologies.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field, as well as an MBA or advanced degree, is a plus.
- Previous experience at e-commerce platform companies is a plus.
- Previous experience managing product management teams is a plus.
