The position is remote or studio-based with highly flexible working options; however, applicants must live in London.

About Fynn

We are a small, RIBA-chartered architecture and interiors practice led by Theo Jones. We specialise in sustainable renovations and extensions to heritage homes in London. We value clarity, sustainability and ethical practice. Our work focuses on creating high-quality, low-impact homes. We enjoy working with natural materials, historic fabric, and skilled craftspeople. We support private clients through all RIBA stages, developing clear, well-considered proposals that balance design quality with buildability. As Islington architects, we typically work on projects in nearby areas such as Angel, Canonbury, Highbury, Clerkenwell, and Barnsbury. We operate with strong ethical principles, from the clients we choose to work with to the materials we specify and how we treat our employees and collaborators. We offer industry-leading holiday policies, pay transparency, paid CPD time and paid overtime.

About you

We are looking for someone who takes pride in both ideas and execution and has worked on UK private residential projects. You should be able to demonstrate your thinking through clear drawings and well-judged details. Ideally you would:

  • understand the nuances of working with existing buildings
  • have good knowledge of planning policy and building regulations
  • have experience with listed buildings and conservation areas
  • be skilled in Rhino for 2D and 3D
  • have JCT contract administration experience
  • work independently and manage your own schedule
  • care about sustainability
  • appreciate a Vola tap
