We are partnering with an established Digital Experience and AI technology provider with more than 20 years' experience delivering technology solutions across the NHS, Social Housing and wider public sector. The business has built a significant customer base across its core markets and is continuing to invest in the growth of its commercial team. As part of this expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the business and help drive the next phase of new customer growth.
This opportunity is aimed at a driven, new business-focused SaaS salesperson who has already built a strong foundation within B2B technology sales and is now looking for an environment where they can develop, take on greater responsibility and build a long-term career. You do not need to already be an expert within the NHS or Social Housing. What matters most is that you are a genuine new business hunter who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors and winning new customers.
The Role
This is a hands-on, hunter-led role focused on generating and winning net-new business for a suite of SaaS and Digital Transformation solutions. You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opening new accounts through to discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and close. You'll be expected to build your own pipeline, develop relationships with senior decision-makers and manage consultative, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience within B2B SaaS, software or technology sales.
- A proven track record in a hunter-led, new business role.
- Experience generating your own pipeline and winning net-new customers.
- Full sales cycle experience from prospecting through to close.
- Strong outbound prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Confidence engaging and presenting to senior decision-makers.
- A consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ambition, resilience and a genuine desire to develop and build a long-term career.
Previous experience selling into the NHS, Social Housing, Local Government or wider public sector would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Strong SaaS new business experience and the ability to learn a market quickly are more important.
Why Consider this Opportunity?
You'll be joining an established technology business with proven solutions, an impressive customer base and significant opportunity for further growth. It's an excellent opportunity for an ambitious SaaS salesperson who wants to progress beyond transactional selling, develop experience within more complex enterprise sales and build specialist market knowledge alongside an experienced commercial team.
