Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 base (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
OTE: Approx. double base salary
The opportunity: We’re working with a growing digital technology business that delivers Digital Services and Digital Experience solutions across the NHS, Social Housing, and wider public sector landscape. The business is continuing to scale its commercial team and is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help expand both existing customer relationships and new business opportunities. This is a consultative sales role focused on selling digital services around accessibility, analytics, SEO, UX, design, and digital experience platforms. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-moving environment with strong internal support, clear progression opportunities, and the chance to work within a growing market.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Building relationships with communication, digital, and operational teams
- Selling Digital Services and Digital Experience solutions
- Leading client meetings, demonstrations, and commercial discussions
- Developing proposals and solution-based presentations
- Identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Driving new business pipeline activity
- Working closely with internal technical and delivery teams
- Maintaining accurate CRM and forecasting activity
What we’re looking for:
Essential experience:
- 3+ years’ experience within sales or business development
- Experience selling digital services or software solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing full sales cycles
- Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot
Desirable / bonus experience:
- Experience selling accessibility, analytics, SEO, UX, or digital services
- Experience selling DXP, websites, portals, or intranet solutions
- Experience within NHS, Social Housing, or public sector environments
- Experience within agency or digital consultancy environments
