We’re working with a well‑established retail business currently undergoing a major internal transformation programme and they’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join immediately on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The business has been operating successfully for over 10 years and combines the stability of an established company with the pace and culture of a start‑up environment. Decisions happen quickly, there’s very little hierarchy, and engineers are trusted to own delivery and make an impact.
This role will focus heavily on building modern internal applications and operational tooling that support large‑scale scheduling, optimisation and customer service functions across the business.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in developing modern React‑based internal applications alongside supporting .NET backend services, helping replace legacy workflows with scalable, API‑first systems. The work is highly delivery‑focused and suited to someone who enjoys solving real operational challenges through clean, pragmatic engineering.

- Strong experience building modern applications with React and TypeScript
- Experience building scalable APIs and internal systems

- Shopify experience would be a major bonus
