  • Build and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities from a cold start
  • Lead outbound activity including account mapping, stakeholder engagement and relationship building
  • Establish credibility with senior stakeholders across digital, IT, transformation and commercial functions
  • Create and progress early-stage opportunities through to qualified pipeline and commercial agreement
  • Navigate and drive momentum within complex, multi-stakeholder NHS environments
Key Requirements
  • Proven track record in business development within the UK NHS or healthcare sector
  • Demonstrated success in winning new logo business in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong experience in proactive, outbound sales and opportunity creation
  • Must have experience selling SaaS or software solutions
  • Comfortable operating in a greenfield territory with minimal existing pipeline
  • Deep understanding of NHS structures, stakeholders and buying dynamics
Role Profile
  • 100% focused on new business development and opportunity creation
  • No responsibility for bids, tenders or product demonstrations
  • Emphasis on relationship-led selling and strategic access into NHS organisations
  • High level of autonomy with full ownership of territory and pipeline
  • Opportunity to build and shape a high-value territory from the ground up
Personal Attributes
  • Self-starter with a strong commercial drive
  • Resilient and comfortable working in an autonomous environment
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term account value
  • Motivated by ownership, impact and tangible results
