Overview

Are you a highly experienced PLM Consultant with leadership capabilities and a passion for shaping business strategy? This role involves driving complex projects from start to finish and becoming a key player in growth for a PLM consulting practice with defence, aerospace, and automotive clients. You will be a technical expert, leading the team in business analysis, solution design, deployment, and performance metrics, while collaborating with the sales manager to identify and capitalize on new opportunities. This position is UK-based with hybrid work and travel expectations.

Due to the nature of the client base, candidates must be willing and able to undergo a high level of security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a technical team; manage projects and client engagements from requirements through delivery.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand needs and provide tailored PLM solutions.
  • Perform business analysis, solution design, deployment, and measure performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities and contribute to bid/tender activities.
  • Work with CAD and PLM systems (e.g., DS/PTC/Siemens/ARAS) and grow expertise in the defence PLM domain.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a PLM Consultant with leadership capabilities and strategic mindset.
  • Experience with CAD and PLM systems such as DS/PTC/Siemens/ARAS.
  • Ability to work in a defence-focused PLM environment; UK hybrid work arrangement.
  • Eligibility for security clearance or ability to obtain required level of clearance.

Location & Travel

UK hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in the Bristol office at first; regular travel within the UK and occasional travel to Europe.
