We're looking for a Product Manager on an Outside IR35 contract basis for an initial 6-month contract to join an established retail business undergoing a major technology and operational transformation.

This is a business that has been operating successfully for over 10 years but still maintains a genuinely entrepreneurial culture. There's very little hierarchy, decisions happen quickly, and Product and Engineering work extremely closely together to deliver meaningful change across the organisation.

This role is heavily focused on delivery execution and would suit a Product Manager who enjoys being embedded with engineering teams, shaping requirements, owning backlogs and helping drive high quality product delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The business would particularly value candidates with experience across retail, omnichannel or multichannel environments, especially those who have worked on operationally focused products or transformation programmes across areas such as logistics, fleet, fulfilment, supply chain, B2B platforms or wider operational systems.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning and prioritising the product backlog
  • Writing high quality user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Working closely with engineers and Tech Leads throughout delivery
  • Driving sprint planning, backlog refinement and agile ceremonies
  • Helping improve product and engineering ways of working
  • Managing dependencies, blockers and delivery timelines
  • Ensuring requirements are clearly defined and ready for development

Experience required:

  • Strong Product Management experience within technology teams
  • Proven backlog ownership and prioritisation skills
  • Strong experience writing tickets, user stories and requirements
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
  • Comfortable working closely with technical stakeholders
  • Experience within retail, omnichannel, operational or logistics-focused environments would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Notion or similar tooling

This is likely to move quickly, send your CV across ASAP for consideration!
