The opportunity

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead client relationships and performance marketing delivery within a growing, employee-owned digital agency.

This role is suited to someone who thrives on ownership. You will act as the strategic partner for your clients, ensuring Paid Media, SEO, Social and CRM activity delivers measurable growth against agreed objectives. Working closely with specialist channel teams, you will maintain clear visibility of performance, guide strategic direction and ensure activity remains aligned to both client goals and commercial outcomes.

What you will be doing

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will take full responsibility for client relationships and account performance, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment and commercial oversight across multiple marketing channels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading client relationships and acting as the primary performance partner across assigned accounts
  • Translating client business goals into clear performance objectives and KPIs across Paid, SEO and Social channels
  • Coordinating cross functional teams to ensure performance activity is aligned and delivered effectively
  • Leading client meetings including regular status updates, monthly reporting and quarterly review sessions
  • Reviewing performance at a strategic level and challenging channel teams constructively to improve results
  • Identifying opportunities to improve campaign efficiency, performance and return on investment
  • Owning account plans and identifying opportunities for growth aligned to client goals and agency targets
  • Producing clear briefs for performance teams to guide campaign direction and priorities
  • Translating complex performance data into clear, actionable insight for clients
  • Monitoring account performance including revenue targets, forecasting and investment levels
  • Preparing estimates for new campaigns, initiatives and additional workstreams
  • Ensuring reporting quality, narrative and insight remain clear and aligned to agreed KPIs

What we are looking for

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience managing digital marketing accounts within an agency or client services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Paid Media, SEO and Social marketing channels
  • Ability to review platform performance, metrics and campaign outcomes at a strategic level
  • Comfortable discussing attribution, tracking and performance reporting with clients
  • Familiarity with GA4, advertising platforms and marketing analytics tools
  • Strong stakeholder management across both internal teams and client decision makers
  • Experience managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment

Desirable experience:

  • Experience working with CRM or lifecycle marketing activity
  • Exposure to performance reporting frameworks and attribution models
  • Experience identifying account growth opportunities through performance insight and strategic planning
