Join a forward-thinking team as a Network Security Engineer (NOC), helping to protect and optimise critical network infrastructure. You’ll work within a 24x7 ISR and NOC environment, ensuring network reliability while defending against evolving threats.
In this hands-on Network Security Engineer role, you’ll support incident triage with the SOC, design and implement secure network solutions, and collaborate across teams to identify vulnerabilities and improve performance. You’ll also help optimise NOC tools and standardise network security platforms for greater resilience.
What you’ll bring as a Network Security Engineer:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, and load balancing
- Experience as a NOC or Network Security Engineer in a 24x7 setting
- Hands-on with Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Familiar with IPS/IDS, SSL decryption, and deep packet inspection
- Experience managing Bluecoat or F5 proxies
- Knowledge of IPSec, SSL/TLS, VPNs, 2FA, and DMZ architectures
- Comfortable with monitoring tools like PRTG or Nagios
Desirable:
- Experience with Darktrace, Splunk, or LogRhythm; packet capture analysis; SOC collaboration; and troubleshooting network flows.
