We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation, innovation, and secure, scalable systems, someone who thrives in solving complex challenges that make a real difference to the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Partner with development teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement security best practices and compliance guardrails across cloud environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure for performance and cost‑efficiency.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation and standards for all infrastructure processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating and implementing new DevOps tools and techniques.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in DevOps or a similar engineering role.
- Proven experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue, EMR, VPC, IAM, Redshift, etc.).
- Strong background in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Expertise in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
- Hands‑on experience managing Linux environments and scripting (Python, Bash, or Shell).
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM roles, and security governance.
- Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana).
