We’re looking for a highly experienced Data SME with a strong track record of delivering complex data transformation programmes within Defence or National Security environments. This is a hybrid role mainly from home with travel to client sites as needed, and can ideally be based in Bristol, London, Manchester, or Glasgow area. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, active DV clearance is essential.
As a Data SME / Data Transformation Consultant, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Defence, guiding them through their digital and data-led transformation journeys. You will lead programmes from strategy through to execution, delivering meaningful outcomes in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
As the Data Transformation Consultant, you will:
- Shape and deliver end-to-end data transformation programmes within secure Defence settings
- Identify and develop new data-driven opportunities across Defence and Aerospace
- Provide hands-on leadership across project teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- Represent the business at industry events and drive reputation in secure data consulting
- Partner closely with clients to turn data strategy into tangible results
To secure the role:
- Proven experience leading major data or IT transformation projects in the Defence or National Security sectors
- Strong technical understanding across data solutions such as IBP, Control Towers, and enterprise platforms
- Background in growing Defence consulting portfolios, from opportunity identification to delivery

- Active DV clearance is mandatory
