We’re partnering with an established retail business with over 10 years of success behind them, currently entering a major phase of digital growth and transformation. Although highly stable and well-established, the environment still feels very much like a start-up. Fast-moving, collaborative, low bureaucracy, and genuinely flat in structure. There’s no red tape, no layers of hierarchy, and you’ll have the freedom to influence technology decisions across the business from day one.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you’ll combine technical delivery with wider engineering strategy. You’ll work closely with Product, Operations and Senior Leadership to build scalable internal systems and modern customer-facing platforms across a growing retail operation. Alongside leading development projects across a modern .NET and React environment, you’ll also take ownership of helping define the business’ AI and LLM strategy, including evaluating tooling, building frameworks, and helping establish best practices and training plans around AI adoption internally. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, modern engineering practices, and working in a business where technology has genuine visibility and impact.
