We are working with a growing organisation that is investing heavily in its digital platforms and ERP capability. They are looking to bring in an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Developer to support a major B2B platform initiative and help expand their integration capabilities. This role will play a key part in enhancing and extending the company’s Business Central (BC) environment while integrating it with new systems, including a recently introduced OroCommerce B2B eCommerce platform.
The position would suit someone who enjoys working closely with both technical and business stakeholders and is comfortable shaping solutions rather than simply delivering development tasks.
The Role

- Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining AL extensions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Delivering enhancements that support B2B sales, pricing, ordering and customer processes
- Building and maintaining integrations between Business Central and third-party platforms, including eCommerce systems
- Supporting the integration of OroCommerce with the ERP platform to enable seamless data exchange
- Working with APIs and web services to enable reliable system integrations
- Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and help shape technical solutions
- Participating in solution design discussions and providing technical input on ERP-related initiatives
- Supporting testing and QA activities to ensure stable and reliable releases
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ERP customisations and integrations
- Producing clear technical documentation and sharing knowledge within the team
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Solid experience working with AL extensions, customisations and ERP enhancements
- Experience building system integrations using APIs or web services
- Experience integrating ERP platforms with eCommerce or third-party systems
- Ability to work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote development environment
- Experience with B2B commerce platforms or ERP-driven eCommerce integrations would be particularly valuable.
