These are hands-on SOC positions for experienced analysts who enjoy getting into the detail – investigating genuine security incidents, analysing suspicious activity and responding to sophisticated cyber threats.The RoleWorking as part of an established SOC team, you’ll be:Investigating and triaging complex security alerts and incidentsWorking across SIEM, EDR, network traffic and security logsSupporting live incident response, containment and escalationThreat hunting and identifying suspicious or malicious activityImproving detection rules, use cases and playbooksWorking with MITRE ATT&CK and attacker TTPsProducing clear incident reports and communicating findingsContributing to the continued improvement of SOC capabilityWhat I’m Looking ForYou’ll ideally have:Strong commercial experience within a SOC or Security Operations environmentHands-on SIEM experience – Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic or similarGood incident investigation and response experienceUnderstanding of MITRE ATT&CKExperience analysing endpoint, network and log dataGood networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS and HTTPExposure to EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and wider security toolingThe ability to work confidently in a highly secure environmentDue to the nature of the work, you must be eligible to obtain DV Clearance, including being a British citizen with the required UK residency history.
