Maintenance Engineer / Technician / Multi Skilled Engineer - Intro
Fylter Ltd. are looking to hire a multi‑skilled engineer to join a busy factory on the outskirts of Edinburgh, in Bonnyrigg. The person must have an electrical bias and be experienced in factory line maintenance / engineering.
The Company
The factory we are recruiting for employs around one hundred and fifty staff who are responsible for processing laundry through the machinery. The engineering team has five members who are responsible for keeping the factory running and reducing downtime.
Duties
Typical duties involve new kit installations, running repairs, PPM, reactive and proactive solving of issues as well as strip downs and thorough cleaning of machines.
This role requires both electrical and mechanical knowledge – however we are really looking for a qualified electrical engineer to complement the team well.
