We currently have a vacancy for someone to carry out driving and labouring duties for the Operational Services Department, working as part of the refuse, recycling and amenity cleansing team across Fylde Borough.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is able to drive any vehicle operated by Fylde Council, including refuse, recycling collection vehicles and road sweepers. Also provide direction and supervision of the collection crew in a safe and courteous manner. The job is 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 2.30pm, with a requirement to work out of hours overtime, including weekends and bank holidays.

Essential Requirements:

1. LGV licence (Category C)
2. Driver CPC qualification with 35 hours of accredited training
3. Good knowledge of the local area
