An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fylde Council’s Community team as a Ukraine Support Officer, working in a job share arrangement alongside an existing postholder. This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in supporting Ukrainian refugees as they settle into life in Fylde, while also contributing to the wider work of the Community Support team.

- Thursday
- Friday (morning)
About the Role
Working closely with your job share partner, you will provide person‑centred support to Ukrainian refugees, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a shared caseload and maintaining clear communication between colleagues
- Providing advice and guidance on housing, benefits, healthcare, education, and employment
- Delivering briefings, information sessions, and one‑to‑one support
- Building strong partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and community organisations
- Supporting individuals and families to access long‑term accommodation
- Coordinating tailored support plans to meet diverse needs
- Accurately recording case information and maintaining up‑to‑date records, including data collection and reporting using Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft Office tools
- Providing flexible support to the wider Community team, contributing to other service areas as required
