Demand Analyst: Citrus UK
Now we’re looking for a Demand Analyst – Citrus UK – to join our team, turning UK citrus demand into accurate forecasts, insight and planning support.
Here’s What You Will Do
Support the commercial team by analysing UK citrus demand and translating orders, forecast trends, promotional activity, seasonality and market dynamics into actionable planning insight.
Your work will support service, availability, waste reduction and weekly and seasonal planning.
You will connect demand with sourcing, supply chain and operational teams, providing clear analysis, early risk visibility and performance reporting.
The role is analytical and detail-driven, with a strong focus on forecast accuracy, demand visibility and planning discipline.
- Some Key Responsibilities
- Analyse UK citrus demand using orders, historical sales, promotions, seasonality, weather impacts and market trends.
- Prepare and maintain accurate weekly and seasonal citrus forecasts with clearly documented assumptions.
- Track forecast versus actual demand and order movements, identifying variances, trends and root causes.
- Produce demand, forecast, order and service reporting covering accuracy, bias, fill rate, availability, waste and key service drivers.
- Support demand reviews, updates and planning inputs, providing clear insight for internal alignment.
- Identify supply-demand gaps, shortfalls, oversupply, timing risks and demand changes early.
- Support scenario analysis, mitigation planning, allocation discussions and improvements in reporting, communication and forecasting processes.
- What You Need To Bring
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Agriculture or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in demand analysis, demand planning, supply chain, commercial analysis, fresh produce or FMCG.
- Experience with retail demand, forecasts, orders, promotions or seasonal planning is advantageous.
- Fresh produce, short shelf‑life supply chain or citrus experience is beneficial.
- Strong Excel and data analysis capability, with ability to translate large datasets into clear insight.
- Fluent English; Spanish or another language is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, structured problem‑solving, ownership and ability to work in a fast‑paced perishable product environment.
