As an Electrical Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role within the Engineering Design Team, working closely with Principal Engineers, Design Managers and Discipline Leads to deliver high-quality design in line with processes, BMS requirements and H. You will contribute to the governance of discipline design activities, ensuring smooth integration with other design disciplines. You will provide technical support to procurement and site teams as needed, while also helping the Discipline Manager and Principal Engineers with knowledge sharing, team development and mentoring of early-career engineers.
What will you be doing:
- Provide technical compliance and quality on design outputs, acting as the default checker to ensure technical assurance and quality control.
- Operate as the discipline lead for a project.
- Seek optimal and efficient design solutions that balance both capital and operational cost benefits.
- Assist the Principal Designer Lead in ensuring CDM regulations are met.
- Design with buildability, safe construction and safe operation in mind, working alongside delivery team.
