Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for a water treatment site near Wellingborough.

As this role is working on a water treatment site, ideally candidates will have previous experience within the water sector however industrial experience may be considered.

Start:3rd August Duration:8 Weeks + Rate:£30 per hour (may be negotiable) Hours: 45 per week Lodge/Accommodation : NOT OFFERED, candidates must be commutable.

Requirements

  • JIB Gold Card
  • 18th Edition
  • Relevant Apprenticeship/NVQ etc.
  • Own Tools & PPE
  • SSSTS
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • Anglian Water Passport (preferred but not essential)
  • You will need your own transport to reach site as it is rural.

  • Oversee the day-to-day workload of the site team, including task delegation by the Project Engineer, managing tooling, paperwork and time management.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of electricians and technicians on site, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
  • Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ensure that the electrical team meets performance, quality, and time-related targets.
  • Conduct inspections and supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all electrical work is carried out in strict adherence to Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and relevant regulation
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical tasks to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met
