Our client, a leading water sector specialist, are seeking an Electrical Supervisor on a water treatment site in Twickenham. Sponsorship cannot be offered; you must have full RTW in the UK. Permanent candidates are heavily preferred for the role, however, the client may consider a term-perm arrangement.

The role requires an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical activities across construction, installation, and refurbishment projects within the water and wastewater sector, supporting delivery on major capital projects and framework programmes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising site teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance
  • Delivering works to agreed timelines and budgets while maintaining consistent quality
  • Acting as a key point of coordination between site personnel, engineering teams, project management, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to support efficient and safe project delivery

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in the water or utilities sector, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities on construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to water and wastewater operations, including adherence to client standards and specifications
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems associated with treatment and process environments, including working within multidisciplinary project teams
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and adherence to industry best practice
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capability, including in time-critical or high-pressure situations

Essential Qualifications:

  • ECS or JIB Gold Card (Supervisor level)
  • SSSTS certification
  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Inspection and Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
  • Valid First Aid at Work certification
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and/or certification relating to DSEAR
