Cost Manager

About the Role:

This role offers the chance to be part of a team delivering iconic commissions for a key client. You will play a pivotal role in project procurement, contract negotiation, and cost management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires strong client-facing skills and the ability to lead commissions while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.
• Lead commissions and build strong client relationships, delivering high-quality project outcomes.
• Oversee the full procurement process, from tendering to contract negotiation.
• Work collaboratively while maintaining a robust approach with main contractors.
• Apply expert knowledge of the NEC3/NEC4 contract forms to project management.
• Provide cost management expertise across renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture projects.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in the renewables, hydrogen, or carbon capture sectors (infrastructure also considered)
• Strong background in cost management within a consultancy environment (main contractor can also be considered)
• Degree or HNC-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Knowledge and experience of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Self-motivated, with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
