Our client, a leading water sector specialist, are seeking Mechanical Fitters on a permanent basis to work within the Thames Valley Region. This is a van based role travelling to multiple sites within the region, however the primary need is in Gloucestershire & Oxfordshire.

Job Overview

  • 40 Hour Week, Monday - Friday
  • Overtime Available
  • Van Provided
  • Travel Time Paid
  • PPE & Job Specific Training Provided
  • Rate is dependent on skills/tickets/experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Onsite installation and removal of relevant water treatment machinery/equipment, including but not limited to: large bore stainless steel pipework, brackets/supports, pumps, motors, valves, steelwork, handrails.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective communicator in team settings.
  • Able to follow engineering drawings and diagrams to install pre-fabricated steelwork/pipework.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Adhering to onsite health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with other trades and end client on site.

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card (essential)
  • Previous Water Sector experience (preferred)
  • Previous relevant experience with industrial installation works/steelwork as outlined above. (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Candidates must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship cannot be provided.
