**Engineering or water sector experience preferred**
We're recruiting for a growing infrastructure contractor looking to strengthen its procurement team, supporting an increasing volume of projects across the North West and wider water sector.
The Role
You’ll support the procurement of materials, plant hire and general business requirements, working closely with site teams, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing purchase orders for materials and plant hire.
- Liaising with site teams to coordinate requirements and deliveries.
- Building supplier relationships and securing competitive pricing.
- Supporting tendering teams with accurate material and hire costs.
- Resolving invoice queries and identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes.
About You
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or buying.
- Ideally from an engineering, construction, utilities or water sector background.
- Strong communication, organisational and IT skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, team-focused approach.

Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.
