Project Manager
Location: Bath / South West
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + package
Employment Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering projects across the South West for Wessex Water and South West Water.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of water and infrastructure projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Project Manager looking to join an established Tier 1 contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
The business is open to candidates from a range of technical and engineering backgrounds. Water or wastewater experience would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right candidate.
The Role:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through to successful completion. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from planning through to completion
Taking responsibility for programme, budget, quality and overall project delivery
Managing clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
Monitoring project progress and ensuring programmes are maintained
Managing project risks, issues and opportunities
Supporting commercial management, variations and cost control
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
Coordinating technical, engineering and site-based activities
Maintaining strong communication with clients and key stakeholders
Supporting project handover and completion activities
About You:
We are looking for a technically minded Project Manager with experience delivering projects within an engineering, construction, infrastructure or similarly technical environment.
