Our client are seeking Mechanical Fitters to work on a Thames Water site near Harlow. This is a contract position. This is an urgent need so ideally you would already have a Thames Water Passport.
Start: ASAP
Rate: Up to £270 per day (Experience Dependent)
Hours: 45 per week
Lodge may be offered to candidates from further afield, but local candidates are still preferred. For candidates seeking permanent roles, this can also be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Onsite installation and removal of relevant water treatment machinery/equipment, including but not limited to: large bore stainless steel pipework, brackets/supports, pumps, motors, valves, steelwork, handrails.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective communicator in team settings.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Adhering to onsite health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other trades and end client on site.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card (essential)
- Thames Water Passport (preferred)
- Previous Water Sector experience (preferred)
- Previous relevant experience with industrial installation works as outlined above (essential)
- Own tools & PPE (essential)
