We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering contractor delivering mechanical installations and maintenance across industrial, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

Key Duties

  • Perform general mechanical duties, including installation and maintenance.
  • Install and align mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, and bearings.
  • Fabricate and fit steel support systems.
  • Conduct fault-finding and repair work on mechanical systems.
  • Assist other disciplines (Electrical or Civils) when required.
  • Ensure responsible use of a company vehicle.
  • Work away from home on occasion (typically Monday–Friday).

Health & Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow all company and site-specific Health & Safety policies.
  • Review and sign onto all relevant CPP / RAMS before starting work.
  • Comply with Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first attitude at all times.

Qualifications & Training

  • Mechanical apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification (essential).
  • CSCS Card holder (essential).
  • Confined Space trained (desirable).
