Our client, a leading water sector specialist, are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to work across Severn Trent Water. Whilst the role is primarily based in this region, there may be a requirement to work away from home as per project requirements. The office is based out of Bromsgrove, and candidates will need to be based within commuting distance of the office.

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical installation activities on-site, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This role involves supervising installation teams, monitoring progress against project timelines, and ensuring compliance with all relevant technical specifications, quality plans, and inspection and test requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, ensuring that all mechanical components and systems are installed in accordance with industry regulations and best practices. They will be expected to proactively identify and resolve issues on-site, minimising delays and maintaining productivity. A strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance is essential.

The role requires the consistent application and promotion of dynamic risk assessment processes, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to safe systems of work at all times.   • Relevant City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical trade qualification (Essential)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification (Essential)
